The Realtek Wireless Driver for Windows 10 is a Windows-specific released in September of 2015. Released by the Lenovo company, this application is supported by most newer Lenovo and ThinkCentre machines beyond version E50-00 and E93, respectively.

The entire download file comes with installation instructions, a "Which Version?" questionnaire, known limitations file, and a complete summary of changes made to the system. Depending on your current machine, the limitations and summary of changes could be radically different.

Currently, the Realtek driver is compatible with Windows 10 32 and 64 bit systems (Version: 3008.11.0515.2015). It's recommended to install the driver through the Intel Official website or the Lenovo website, which both provide rapid and virus-free installations.

For those that don't know, a WLAN driver, or wireless local area network driver, is a software program that allows your computer to configure a WLAN device. Simply put, a WLAN device is a piece of firmware that may includes wireless cards, routers, and internet adaptors.

Essentially, a WLAN allows a network of computers in a residential or business property to connect to wireless internet. The computers within the same network can also seamlessly share and port information to each other, without requiring external softwares or drivers.

Through installing the Realtek WLAN driver, Windows users should be able to set up their own completely wireless internet connection at home. To make sure you're installing the right version, look at the product ID of the specific driver you're downloading.

Currently, there are several versions of the Realtek WLAN driver. Each install should have a bit configuration of either 32 or 64 bits, followed by a series of letters and numbers. The letters and numbers should match the ID printed on your Intel specific wireless adaptor.

Before installation, make sure to also verify whether your machine is a 32 or 64 bit system. Typically, this information can be found on the informational sticker printed on your motherboard or the bottom of your Windows laptop.

If not, the best way to find this information is to head to your folder system. Click the Home button, toggle your mouse over to the "System" folder and then click "System Type".

If this information doesn't appear, check out the current RAM available in your system. The major difference between 32 and 64 bit operating systems is that they can handle different capacities of RAM, or Random Access Memory. That is, 64 bit systems support up to 2 TB, while 32 bit systems utilize up to 4 GB.

Once you know this information, it's as simple as locating the correct download file. Usually, wrong download files will not work properly for the user or will not install at all.

Once installed, the driver should allow users to connect to a wireless local area network with no issues.
